Steve Krenek is the Broker, owner, and Auctioneer here at Rocking K Realty. After graduating from Texas A&M University in College Station in 1976, he served as a County Extension Agent for the Texas Agricultural Extension Service in Calhoun County. In 1980, he and his wife, Melanie, began promoting Championship Truck & Tractor pulls throughout the south. When their daughters, Krystal & Kandice, came along, he decided to quit the traveling, stay home, and raise his family. He became a licensed real estate agent in 1986, opening Rocking K Realty & Auctions in 1992. He is currently the Vice President of the North Alamo Water Supply Corporation, the largest water association in the state of Texas. Steve serves on the Willacy County Livestock Show Board, is a Past President of the Harlingen Board of Realtors, and a Past President of the Algodon Club, which honored Steve and Melanie as Don and Dona in 2008.
