Steve Krenek is the Associate Broker and Auctioneer at Rocking K Realty.  After graduating from Texas A & M University in College Station in 1976, he served as a County Extension Agent for the Texas Agricultural Extension Service in Calhoun County.  In 1980, he and his wife, Melanie, began promoting Championship Truck and Tractor Pulls throughout the South.  After the birth of their daughters, Krystal and Kandice, they chose to quit traveling in order to stay at home and raise the girls.  Steve became a licensed real estate agent in 1986, then opened Rocking K Realty & Auctions in 1992.  In June, 2012, he sold the company to Ryan and Lara Busse, but continues to serve his clients as an associate at Rocking K.   Steve has served as a Director of the Harlingen Board of Realtors and held the office of President in 1995.  In 2010, he was named "Broker of the Year."  He is currently the President of the North Alamo Water Supply Corporation, the largest rural water supplier in Texas.  He is a past President of the Algodon Club, which honored Steve and Melanie as Don and Dona in 2008.   Steve and Melanie are members of Calvary Baptist Church in Harlingen.  Steve believes that his clients deserve the very best that he has to offer, treating them with honesty, fairness, and integrity.  If you want an agent with down-home values that you can trust, call Steve.
